We made the pledges steal a Christmas tree every year. That was about the worst criminal activity, if you disregard the drunk driving and petty vandalism of rival houses. Drinking age was still 18, so that made life easier.

In my opinion, some pledge’s DKE grandfather called Nationals to bitch about his legacy grandson getting cut before initiations.
Then he started spouting off all the lame arse shite (in Grampaw’s opinion) they were doing to his grandson.
National was taking notes, horrified while gramps thought it all junior league crap that a man is just supposed to take.
Nationals followed up, pulled the charter and told LSU, the ball’s in your court.
So LSU doing this for the public optics, law suit CYA and the message it sends to the Greeks.
End of story.

One of those guys had a prior drug arrest that stemmed from a shooting at the cottages a couple years back. These aren’t some good ole baws..probably a mix of thugs and drug addicts

Who are the kids that are agreeing to this? I was in a fraternity at LSU, and I would have told them to get fricked if they tried to do some shite like that to me as a pledge. Furthermore as an active I wouldn't have let someone else try to do that to a pledge. No one else in the fraternity would have either.
