Yeah but that's the problem.

We're probably solidly in the zone (at least at LSU) where prospective pledges are going to mentally calculate whether being in a fraternity is worth all of the other bullshite, with a bonus of possibly getting your academic shite pushed in if you happen to be two rooms down the hall when somebody makes a pledge eat a mustard packet and he runs screaming to his mother and she calls up the administration.

It goes both ways. Yes some ninny babies try to join a frat and cry wolf whenever they get their delicate feelings hurt. But you and I both know Frats can get carried away. Frats should keep in mind that they will always be under a microscope.

I very torn here. Sort of like respecting freedom of speech even though you don’t approve of the speech. They were always such freaks in a good and bad way.

Do they (Nationals) have the power to demand that a group of now disassociated guys vacate a property that the National chapter doesn’t own?

Fraternities are evolving into purely academic clubs.

I hate it based on the incredible times I had. For my son if he were to pledge, not sure how I feel. Kinda like the other many ways things were different when I was a kid than now.
