There is nothing cheap about it. Even after the $25/per entrance fee.. turkey legs $27. Beer $15.
That's nothing when you get free housing, food stamps, cell phones, etc.

Does the Rodeo take EBIT?

Y’all will have fun. The folks here are being dramatic but I will say it’s spring break weekend so it’s gonna be crowded. Check out the livestock and ag exhibits in NRG Center, lots to see. I don’t know what’s going on today but they have dog herding, kids showing pigs, etc

Wife was at the Stapleton show and noticed the diversity as well. It used to be only on Urban night. Now it is almost every night from what we heard.
Also, somehow Houston has become a spring break Destination. WTF!

I don’t know but San Antonio rodeo will always be superior

Every year I look at the Houston rodeo line up to have a good laugh. About half are country singers, and about half of those country singers are actually country singers.

San Antonio will have 1 rapper a year (throw them a bone) and then the rest country singers. Houston seems to be half Rap/Pop and half country.

Something I have noticed about Houston is a lot of the white people seem to think they are or want to be black

If they are assimilating that’s fine with me

I wonder if I can start raising turkeys in the common area backyard. The HOA may not like it.
For $27 a leg I could afford kickbacks.

The Houston metro has a significantly higher crime rate than the Atlanta metro, fwiw

How exactly? Have they scheduled rap acts?
Since you mention it, I went a few weeks ago and the acts were Lizzo, Mike jones, Rick Ross and Paul wall

Been reading on X that a certain demo was kicked out of Miami for SB so now Houston is the spot. Could be a factor. I dread the rodeo - used to be fun but now with the parking situation and “difference” in culture, it’s no longer a must-do.

That group is heavily into pop culture. Its definitely the Beyonce effect. Good to hear the rodeo scene will now be down graded and low class
