No. I run and own part of a $150 million dollar company.

Searching for bargains on $15 shirts and driving 5-10 year old cars allowed me to have the money to be in the spot I’m in.

You’re welcome to imitate my approach. I started doing it when I noticed other folks older than me who did it this way and it seemed to work out well for them. So, I just learned what they did and how they did it.

Feel free to copy it. It’s my gift to you.

Go to the Dillard’s store at the Mall of Louisiana. They have a clearance rack in the back of the store. I usually go in there and get myself $15 shirts every two years or so. They usually have the no iron shirts in the clearance rack which is my go to.

Okay, Mr. “The dern Dillards clearance outlet closed, I can’t get my Roundtree & Yorke!” Which btw is some cheap arse shite, you’re better off going to JC Penny's.

I like Roundtree and York just fine for basic polo shirts. JCPenney’s Foundry line was the best. The extra tall shirts fit me perfect. Because unlike the rest of the OT who claim to be tall, I actually am.

I’ve ended up in the same place as you career-wise but I order 6 identical shirts from Brooks Brothers at a time and wear them out.

I have done what you are still doing 20 years ago but the risk:reward and time component doesn’t work for me to visit an outlet store and maybe get something close to what I want at a discount.

The $500/year difference between the exact identical BB shirts and some random store brand shirts at this point in my world works for me. Obviously not for you.

I drive a new vehicle to around 160-200k, generally that’s around 4 years for me.

So we are more similar than we are different.

They had one of those in the old Lewisville TX mall whose name I forget.

That was the most despair I have ever felt in a public space. It used to be high toned, but had fallen to something beneath a K-Mart.

Second the Amazon pants. They're surprisingly comfortable.

Third the pants. Thought it was gonna be cheap-o quality at first, but they’re legit.

Wondering the same thing. My Mother loved the one here, we spent many a Sat or Sun in there before having a ladies lunch at Mansur's. She passed away before they tore it down. She would be so sad. My daughter and I want to got to either Slidell or NOLA so interested to see if those are worth the drive. It is true though that in the store at the end of the season, they do have almost the same discounts on some stuff, we just loved the digging.

Amazon essentials baw

I’ve had better luck with their pants. My favorite pair right now came from there and were crazy cheap. Like $20 or something.

Amazon Essentials Slim Fit Golf Shorts are the greatest shorts ever, but they have gone up from $15 to $30 over the last couple of years

I would call and verify Slidell. Last time I went by the doors were locked and no cars in the parking lot. But these days the workers may have just decided not to come in that day.

I called Kenner. Not Slidell. Don’t know if I have it in me to hit both spots. Will probably go to Kenner.

One in Slidell has a ton of shite. Just be prepared to spend some time, so much stuff to go through.

Try Nordstrom Rack. Similar to TJ Max but nicer stuff generally.

Yes, the Kenner store is worth going to. I was there last week. They do not have as good as sales as the BR store used to but if you watch their website, some good deals do come along. I got a bunch of really nice pairs of shorts for $8 and they had the short sleeve button downs for $10.

It’s still there, I went earlier this year when my luggage was lost. “Music City Mall” is the name of the mall, and yes the mall area is terrible.
