Music was good, parties were better, hair was shite and movies were corny. At any rate, I feel sorry for kids these days.

I didn't. But I went to Merry Go Round at Cortana with my brother when he spent every penny he'd earned cutting grass over the summer on a black pair of parachute pants and a gray Members Only jacket.

Needless to say, my brother was insanely cool and hip. He also wore checkered Vans.

It was a great time to be alive.

We have somehow managed to indoctrinate our kids and they actually like '80s music and movies.

yea. Vans are an institution.

I got my son a pair last year when he wanted to lean how to skate. So I picked myself up a pair too.

I probably have 4 or 5 pairs of lace ups. But only one pair of checkered slip ons.
