This is why those commies gave us Greenland instead of Iceland. Greenland is closer to Chicago/Baltimore/New Orleans than Iceland

North America and Europe plates meet in Iceland. That's the only place on earth where you can stand with one foot in each at the same time. I've done it.

No, he is right about that. Greenland lies between Iceland and the US, pull up Google Earth and take a look. When I flew Icelandic from Keflavik to New York we went over the tip of Greenland a couple of hours after leaving Iceland.
