Because you never tried. I’m sure they were fine with you, but if you hang by the grill while the Dad is fixing burgers and have a personality that entertains him, you’re in like Flynn. Teens and college people, if you have an enduring personality, take advantage of it. It’s done nothing but help me out in my life. It’s a great skill to have.

I didn’t have to do that. My “enduring personality” didn’t require me to rattle off random trivia while my friends’ dads were trying to grill some burgers

Talk about war with Dad. That was always my go-to and it worked. Also I was a big cigar aficionado and brought those, and they in turn would bring some for me.

I don’t think I played a single football game my sr season that I wasn’t drunk. Getting out at half day, and school being right outside of LSU made it pretty easy to get fueled up. Then again, 18 was legal drinking age back then.

Who the frick would ever want to play sports drunk? Might as well drink milk during timeout too.

I can understand getting high as a kite before playing to calm the nerves, but alcohol just doesn’t sound remotely appealing

Somehow I landed a great job without talking about wars and giving my friends dads macanudos in high school

What are the odds

I’m only giving pluses to young people. Ask about what they do as well for sure. All I’m talking about is networking, and they’ll know you at the start from your worst, which is a positive. It’s better to deal with a demon they do know rather than one they don’t. Got arrested in college in front of my current boss, so can’t get worse than that. It’s a major bonus with your boss knowing from the onset that you’re a degenerate, and vice versa for being the employee of your boss. You’re just going to have fun and go nuts.

Listen guy. When he was in high school he was cool enough to drink with his friends parents. Show some respect.

it’s wild you think all this is positive. Your beloved boss owns you and your mind. Are you able to see that?

So long as I make him cash he leaves me alone. I’ve achieved pretty much true freedom for anyone that has a boss. So long as I sell, I’m left alone. It’s a great relationship where I can do whatever the frick I want.

I don’t ever have to worry about this happening with him so long as I produce my numbers, which shows no signs of slowing down and I’m already at 150%+ my annual quota which ends on March 31st, so otherwise I say you get on the line and make some fricking sales calls. Otherwise I don’t care what you think I’m owned by! YouTube
