This is the right answer. I love Tesla, but people are acting like the things they add are original to them. There have been commercials explaining exactly how these brakes work playing almost nonstop since release by other companies.

Can't be 100% certain, but I have a friend who has a Dodge Citdael very similar to the "Durango" they used to make that has tech like this. Not saying Tesla does not have better tech, just that there is some tech being placed in vehicles other than Tesla.

my Kia has auto distance cruise control. It keeps a preset distance from cars and will slow and speed up as the cars in front do.

That is great, but in the video we see, most cars with modern safety features would have beeped and braked when the red car moved enough to see the car in front coming to a stop.
Doesn't change the fact that Tesla is on top of things from a safety standpoint, but this video doesn't really prove their superiority.

This part is incorrect. Tesla doesn't rely on cameras, but radar and ultrasonic sensors to detect cars many car lengths in each direction. It knows the speed and trajectory of each relative to itself. It doesn't predict accidents per se, but obviously is able to warn you about impending rapid distance decreases sooner than a human would notice.
I drive an S60D, and see this all the time.
