I sleep well from around 1130-1200 to 4am. Then from 4am to around 6 or 7 am I’m kinda in and out.

I slept about three hours. Absolutely brutal. On the bright side I did get to listen to about 5 hours of podcasts.

I have been falling asleep within 30 mins of getting in bed the last several nights. Great thread.

Have you ever tried to sleep walk?

I sleep a lot worse than I used to. I'm generally OK getting to sleep but I wake up a lot.

I've started this habit of waking up around 2 and getting something sweet to eat. After that, I get my best sleep for about 2 hours but then start waking up up every hour until I get up for good at 7.

I took 30 Ambien in one night before I got sober.

Took 5, then don’t remember anything until I woke up and found the bottle empty

Jeez, how did you not die?

I refuse to take one of those things. I know I'd be the type to do what you described, or get in the car and drive to Dallas or some shite.

I don't eat or anything. I just wake up, drink some water, look at the time and try to go back to sleep. I generally do this every 30 minutes from about 3:30-6 when I get up. Maybe it's getting up to piss that sets it off. I usually sleep fine from 11-3.

It sucks. I used to sleep like the dead.

Symptomatic of sleep apnea, for what it's worth.

Slept poorly, woke up feeling sick. Went into work for a couple of hours and had to go home.

well I guess restless leg syndrome doesn't keep you up

I have this. I'm telling you, man, just a small toke off of a vape pen each night (preferably an indica oil) just before you lay down and you'll never experience it again. If I'm out of oil for whatever reason and can't take my nightly toke, my legs go crazy and I can't get to sleep.

ETA: Goddamnit, just realized this was an OWEO joke. Nonetheless, the weed helps people with RLS

I slept horribly last night. First time I feel like I had a night terror. Felt like I was tossing and turning and had a sick empty feeling in my gut. Heard what I thought was my daughter crawling on the floor next to the bed but making zombie like noises. Terrified me for a few moments until I woke up to an empty room.

Normally I’m trying to get straight back to sleep if I wake up in the middle of the night, but I spent a few minutes walking around to shake that one.
