they need to expand their menu beyond chicken fingers, fries, and toast.

This guy took a ratty, ghetto place on the corner of Highland and State in Baton Rouge, LA and turned it into a busines that generates 1.5 bil of revenue per year with basically the menu that they have now....but yea let's add a shite load more expense and complexity to the model

I don’t see how adding some desserts would change their formula at all. The chicken fingers and all aren’t suddenly going to grow mold because you bring in some ice cream and cookies.

You may be missing the point. They focus on trying to do one thing better than the rest.

Back in the 90s, I used to get about five extra Cane sauces and use them for cheap lunch options (BLTs, frozen food sauce, etc.). I much preferred Bailey's over Cane's but they didn't survive.

I also noticed last night how old Trey Wingo looks now. It looked like one of those 'Old Man' face apps.

Also, can't remember who, but one of the players had a several Cane's cups on their table when the cams were rolling

It was Chaisson

yep... K'Lavon Chaisson had enjoyed him some Caniac Combos right before being drafted

Product placement?

If I were a local franchise owner ans a prospect called up wanting food for draft night, I would say "it's free if you promise to keep it in front of the camera".
