mini willow grove?

exactly. It's the only way they could get the money out of it is to pile houses on top of one another.

But let's be real, it's probably going to be a bunch of shoddy glorified townhouses with no yard and cheap foliage with an old plantation house in the middle of it.

This guy did e'tage and while they don't have yards they are hardly glorified shoddy townhomes.

That's one of the nicest, most stable areas in town.

i understand where you are coming from but that's too close for my comfort. especially for the price the houses are selling for

That sounds like an awful thing to do to that property.

This,

Its a very cool house, but I am sure it needs a ton of updating.

I did some work in there about 25 years ago. Really cool basement below it.

Another article I read said they are spending $1,000,000 to renovate the plantation.

Hopefully its a success and the timing coinciding with the oil crash doesn't put a damper on it.

I thought that rendering looked familiar. Aside from having no yard, those houses in E'tage are pretty sweet.

There is a high demand for that type of construction right now. People, especially middle-aged people whose children have moved out, like the idea of having minimal yard maintenance.

Look at the prices in Willow Grove. The demand is superhigh.

In the Goodwood Plantation, lots are going for 285K - 300K.
