We did not want to plan anything and if we decide to do some activities and it's all booked, it will not hurt our feelings. We do have a full kitchen and intend to cook the hell out of some fresh seafood. I like the paddle board idea.

I don't understand this either. If I'm going someplace that I've been to I know where to go and what to do. If I go somewhere new I research the hell out of it before I go.

Heading there on Saturday and plan on playing a couple of rounds of golf next week. We have a 7 bedroom house and will have 18-19 people staying with us...will do quite a bit of cooking at the house, but plan on eating here on Sunday night for Father's Day...will probably eat out 2-3 nights. Marlin Grill

If there's a rainy day...that's good for catching a movie or going bowling.

Unfortunately Big Kahuna's has been getting run down over the last several years. It's not what it used to be.

8 adults(my parents, brother, sister & spouses)...7 kids(age 17-24) and the kids can all bring a friend. I always travel with a box fan whenever possible to drowned out the noise when it's time to sleep.

Yup...confirmed. F'ing nightmare, good luck

I've always hated large group vacations. I like to do what I want to do when I'm on vacation....not sit and debate for an hour on what the "group" wants to do. You are basically just paying money to be miserable at that point.

We've been doing this every other year for right at 20 years now. We all get along well and usually don't have any problems. Chill at the beach or the pool during the day for the most part, then figure out what to do in the evening...drinking is usually involved. Everyone always looks forward to it...typically one of the few times we get everyone together at the same time.

My parents attempted in making the trip two years ago be the last one since most of the grandkids were off at different colleges and it was difficult coordinating schedules, but we all talked them into keeping the trip going for the forseeable future.

Eat ice cream/frozen custard from Shake's. It's amazing.

Eat pizza at Jordano's down in Miramar.

Get donuts from The Donut Hole.

other than that, drink, nap, and sit on the dang beach. It's a beach trip, not NYC. Don't plan anything.

this is on point advice.

make sure to get the "Everything But Anchoves" from Jordanos.

True, but it's still not horrible. Good thing to do for a day, especially with kids that are between 7 - 15 or so. I think they got bought (Big K's, not my kids). There's a new ride, with more updates planned, I think.

And, as my oldest son says... they have those hot funny talking girls working there.
