They actually just filed for bankruptcy- not sure if a new owner will come in to revitalize it or if they will bulldoze it down to build new condos

So many childhood and pre-teen memories of that place in the 80's/90s. It should be on the national register of historic places, not condos.

We’ve been in Perdido Key since Thursday night. It’s been very crowded...Our friends got pulled over and had to fill out paperwork to cross the Alabama/Florida border, though.

Used to love Destin. lived in Sandestin for 4 years after retiring. The owner is ruining the resort. Links golf course closed and will probably become prime condo development. Fun place to visit but no place to live. Sold out and moved back to South Georgia.
