I can only assume they are bringing him in to introduce the body cam videos and crime camera footage.
The Defense could have been asked to allow the video without this guy being qualified as the Custodian of those records.
I don't know why this wasn't covered pre-trial by motion. I have rarely, if ever, seen a Custodian testify. And usually only if they had something else to add.
Not sure where this is going.

Interesting. So there was enough going on at that corner PRIOR TO THIS for MPD to have a dedicated crime camera there?

I posted that link where you can look at crime data. They said earlier in one interview that cameras had been installed around specifically due to the amount of crime.

If I haven't been watching and just listening to the media I would think Chauvin was getting killed in court but its totally opposite.
