Had to have been a hell of a ride before the inability to breathe occurred
You mean almost as soon as he realized he was about to be arrested? Or when he was flailing about, kicking and screaming in the back of the SUV, or when he was cussing and kicking at officers trying to restrain him, or when he was finally dragged from the SUV? That was a whole lot of doing for a many who couldn't breathe.

If you watch the entire bodycam video you can clearly see that the officer didn’t apply pressure the whole time.
Imagine being in the position of not "fricking this prosecution up" instead of seeing that justice is actually the focal point of the system you are part of.

Wow. That is a shocker. Wonder what angle they will take?

I think the big sticking point is how much fentanyl he had in his system
You can't claim he OD'd on fentanyl while also arguing that he was clearly resisting arrest. Fentanyl is a super-strength laboratory-created opiate. Opiates render you docile, slow, and inactive. If you have taken enough fentanyl to OD, you sure as frick aren't going to be able to walk or talk, much less resist arrest.
The autopsy from the Medical Examiner did not cite drugs as COD. ME gave "cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression." as COD.
Floyd wasn't a good guy but he didn't deserve to be killed by an overzealous policeman that day.

Do they do so immediately upon ingestion of them?
Or, is it kind of a gradual process?
Also, keep in mind that the method of ingestion was likely not intravenous, but orally.

You ever seen someone shoot or sniff heroin? Imagine that with a drug 1000x stronger. If he's OD'ing, as so many of you claim, he cannot resist and would immediately be down for the count upon consumption.
The ME has ruled out toxicity as COD. I'm not sure why it's even still being debated.
ETA: Fentanyl is the shite that they say even touching will kill you if you touch too much. Feel free to google that if you don't believe me. Ingestion of an amount leading to overdose would lead to immediate sedation and death when the lungs stop moving.

Did George Floyd have a lethal amount of fentanyl in his system?
Yes or no question.
Case closed.

He likely did not sniff or shoot it.

Per the autopsy performed by the Medical Examiner, no, he did not have a lethal amount of fentanyl in his system.

Here are details about fentanyl overdose (details in the link):
"One of the most commonly described characteristics of a fentanyl overdose was the rapid speed of onset, with 75% of the respondents describing symptoms of an overdose occurring within seconds to minutes."

Do you believe those autopsy results are open to any sort of interpretation?

According to toxicology, Floyd had toxic levels of meth and fentanyl in his system as well as covid and a history of heart disease. DC followed the Minneapolis Police Dept Training Manual by the book the entire time he was in contact with Floyd. In normal times he would be acquited, but in mob rule times he will probably get sent to prison for decades.
Where cop was in wrong was spending time arguing with people questioning his authority instead of focusing on Floyd and possibly missing signs he shouldn’t have missed or even missing that the other cop didn’t find a pulse (i think he was in position for another 2 to 3 minutes).
I haven’t seen an objective timeline on when DC first knew Floyd didn’t have pulse and if Floyd was dead regardless due to drugs. In the general sense of the word not necessarily MN’s definition I have felt it was some form of negligence due to that time frame between no pulse and DC getting off Floyd. I think it might be hard to prove that 2 to 3 minutes was meaningless in his survival, and it looked more from ego, letting himself get distracted, and/or poorly instructing & monitoring the cops that were more directly monitoring Floyd’s health.
It wasn’t because of race and was just the visual the defunders needed to take advantage of Covid shutdowns and fed extra unemployment payment to drive message just when some states were successfully opening back up. No way billionaire leftist or liberal hedge funders (& other funds) and Technodemocrats did not have a plan in place to pressure so many corporate entities to cave so quickly and to start seeing protest activity in Europe.

So, you're saying it isn't at all possible that George Floyd had a fatal level of Fentanyl in his system?

Anyone else see the name “Derek Chauvin” and was thinking this would be about some oilfield baw from Houma for a spilt second, before reading the context? Based on the name?
