So what do you think the chances of rioting and looting kick up again when ever this trial is over?

I think it’s going to start up strong again because I just can’t see them giving him a murder & manslaughter charge

Messed up part is he will most likely get convicted

excuse my confusion, but you just cant see him getting convicted while also thinking he will most likely get convicted?

I think its painfully obvious that at minimum the manslaughter conviction is a near certainty. Assuming a manslaughter conviction, I think its highly unlikely to have the mass widespread riots like in the past. however If DC only earns a manslaughter conviction there will still probably be tiny isolated riots compared to before.

Chauvin may have used exessive force but didn’t kill the POS that was career criminal with a arrest record a mile long that died from a overdose

well medical records, expert opinions, and video evidence are contrary to your opinion on overdose vs homicide.

They won’t be unanimous in either direction.

This is going to be a hung jury and a mistrial.
Every beat cop in the USA is paying full attention to this. I have only a small idea of what they have to deal with on a daily basis. I wonder what they think about the MPD leadership and the overall picture of front line law enforcement? Be careful of what you wish for, you might just get it.

did that? If he did then I recant my previous statement.

He did 5 years for a crime that carries a max 99 in Texas.

He got the short end of that.

Doesn't scream systemic racism to me.

Dude should be rotting in prison still.

They should pay attention. Cops like DC are damaging to the reputation of a respectable profession as the vast majority of police are reasonable and decent people. MPD taking a hardline on a bad cop helps to repair that.

If they are watching close then they witnessed a senior officer with the MPD commit perjury on the stand yesterday.

They should be really proud

What do you mean cops like DC? Are you also one of those people that feels Chauvin is nothing but a racist white supremacist that was looking to bag him a black man like a couple others in this thread?

no thats silly. I mean bad cops like DC who wield their authority with reckless disregard for life whose behavior causes the death of another person.

He got caught in 3 lies....

LINK

quote:

The senior officer, Lt. Richard Zimmerman of the department’s homicide unit, also testified that putting someone in handcuffs brings the threat level “way down” – and he said anyone who is cuffed while facedown on the ground should be moved immediately.

quote:

“The threat level goes down all the way,” he said. Asked to elaborate, he said, “They’re cuffed, how could they hurt you?”

quote:

When Frank asked the homicide lieutenant if he saw anything to make him think the crowd posed “an uncontrollable threat to the officers at the scene,” Zimmerman replied, “No.”

quote:

As for whether someone in handcuffs could still pose a threat, Zimmerman said, “I suppose they could.”

He straight up lied and contradicted himself

You are responding to an idiot troll. Save yourself the time, and just ignore this fool. I think he's going for the record amount of downvotes in a thread.

this is a duh statement.

quote:

“The threat level goes down all the way,” he said. Asked to elaborate, he said, “They’re cuffed, how could they hurt you?”

this is not perjury. he was elaborating on the previous quote. the threat of someone restrained and entirely subdued is all the way down.

quote:

When Frank asked the homicide lieutenant if he saw anything to make him think the crowd posed “an uncontrollable threat to the officers at the scene,” Zimmerman replied, “No.”

lmao another duh statement. the crowd was under control, they did not attack or harm the police. telling the police they are shitbags killing a human is not being uncontrolled

quote:

As for whether someone in handcuffs could still pose a threat, Zimmerman said, “I suppose they could.”

someone in handcuffs alone who is not entirely subdued could still maybe be a threat.

0/3 for perjury claims. you are really reaching for the stars on this one.

I've watched almost all of it. We are obviously watching two different trials. The prosecution actually put a witness that described GF's previous overdoses, to that day.
