Good, they have too much power and i believe there should be no victimless crimes.
Why would it be "good" for law enforcement to wither and decay? It is integral to the rule of law and civilized society. The predictable result of law enforcement decay would be more crime, suffering, and chaos.

Not kneel on him for 8+ minutes?
How many minutes would have been acceptable to you to detain a known felon on drugs that is resisting arrest?

Here we go, CourtTV is reporting that the crowd is mad it wasn't longer, black men get longer, etc. We might get some rioting out of this yet.

You had him in cuffs. Put him in the car and go.

I’ve never wanted to own a firearm, but our police forces are going to be decayed to their core over the next several years and it will be up to citizens to enforce law and order.
You’re correct about police forces decaying, but the moment you defend yourself or your property, they will come after you.

black men get longer,
No they don't.
George Floyd's dead arse got five years for armed robbery/home invasion with having a list of prior convictions. I can introduce you to a white dude who got 75 years for the same crime with no priors whatsoever.

The piece of trash was cuffed. Let him flop like a fish on cam but don't kneel on him like an idiot. Admitting Chauvin is dumb as hell isn't going to mean your little tough guy persona here is all in vain. Pretty simpleton hill to die on really.

....because they have too much power.
Law enforcement needs to be left up to local cities/counties.
Law enforcement needs to not have military grade equipment.
Law enforcement needs to not financially benefit from arrests/tickets/etc.
Law enforcement needs to be paid for by local govts and their citizens, not federal grants.
Police unions and qualified immunity needs to go away.
Ultimately I believe all victimless crimes should be done away with, but until then, traffic offenses should not be handled by armed officers. If they're that scared of what they will be faced with, use cameras and mail in tickets (ALTHOUGH I think this is a farce as well).

22.5 is less than I thought he’d get. In that sense he’s gotta be somewhat relieved he won’t die in prison of old age.

Calling all lawbaws, how much of that will he serve before eligible for parole?
Minnesota uses determinate sentencing. Under this system, there is no parole board and no time off for good behavior. Offenders serve two-thirds of their prison sentence incarcerated and the remaining third on supervised release. ... However, more severe violations will require the offender to be brought back to prison.
Assuming no appeals, 15 years or so.
