Nobody's trying to look cool. Is it that farfetched to you that the people who see racism and symbolism in every aspect of every day would not notice things about a movie about apes being in cages, rising up, and taking the fight to "the man"?
It doesn't seem farfetched to me in the slightest.

The planet doesn't suck , BLM and others like them suck. These people will keep on getting attention until they are called out for what they are and that's racists pos.

Sunny Hostin tried to defend McKesson. “I know DeRay. I think he’s done incredible work as a social activist. I’m still confused as to what his tweets actually meant,” she said, trying to make the case that he did have some kind of valid point. “Is it possible?” she asked. Goldberg shot back, “No, it’s not."

My favorite part of the George Zimmerman trial was watching all the legal analysts on CNN laugh at Sunny Hostin's daily analysis of how well the prosecution was doing. Some of them were on the cusp of calling a complete moron on national TV.
I think Danny Cevallos even asked her if they were both watching the same trial

Speaking of DeRay:
In late 2015, he was a guest lecturer at Yale Divinity School. In November of the same year, Mckesson spoke at the GLAAD Gala, where he discussed his life as a gay man and asked LGBT people to "come out of the quiet."[
How does a divinity school justify this?

I see that Harambee has made a cameo, and he's on horseback!

The business that Deray is involved in is all founded on emotion-based, non-peer reviewed social pseudoscience so it's easy to claim one to be an "expert" in a field. Their whole ideology is based on mindless, non-substantive platitudes.
This guy can't even explain white privilege or even how to "combat" it.

I saw this shite yesterday evening and I figured this jackass has to be one of two things.
- One ignorant, delusional waste of air.
- Someone who really knows how to keep his name in the news because he is only concerned about himself and just wants to find ways to self-promote himself than the group he supports, etc.
Or maybe he is both.
This dude has people who follow him and will support/believe anything he says and by saying shite like this, he is promoting a mentality that hurts "his people" more than it helps them.
I did see there were people, even other supporters of BLM, who called his ignorant arse out, but to think a blockbuster movie like this would even include "coded messages" directed to him is.. amazing.. Amazing because he thinks that he is that fricking important. If he was THAT important he would have a lot more than 190,000 followers.. But I can't believe people think these two clowns are even concerned about something other than themselves.

There is really no objective reasoning to social science and it's been hijacked by weirdos.

deray mckesson? @deray 1h1 hour ago Now, with the #PlanetOfTheApes poster & toy, I was contacted by folks within Hollywood who thought there was an issue, hence those tweets.
He was contacted by Hollywood about this, so it's not his fault, y'all.
This dude has got to be delusional to think that anyone in hollywood gives to shits about him
