Old history is interesting on them, but: the more contemporary can be found if you scroll down the link that refers to their warriors I think....they damn near whupped the British in the mid 1800's; As part of the British empire they were fierce fighters, and fought a lot in WWI and WWII for the British Army.

Someone out on parole and out of jail early who does anything should be put back in prison for at least some time. That’s a huge sign they don’t care. DWI’s in general are not taken seriously enough until someone is killed, but you would think being on parole something would have been done.
I don’t know about Harris, but in other counties active warrants are published online and the guy would have known for over 2 years any dealing with a cop meant prison. Also not knowing if blue warrants are actively searched for or if they more likely to be just put in place and wait until found doing something else, but Given his violent history And the info in charge that created his blue warrant it would suck if they didn’t actively pursue him.

This is sad. People of Sikh faith or some of the most peaceful people on Earth. It doesn't matter why the person shot him bc there is no justifiable reason, but it would be really shitty if him wearing a turban played a factor.
