Not quite as bad, but I had a Tx buddy call me one time asking for instructions on how to do a shrimp boil. He says, “ok, I peeled all the shrimp and have a container of Old Bay seasoning. What do I do next?”

I told him to buy some fettuccine and Alfredo sauce.

The back of a bag of Rouse's seafood boil has a shrimp boiling recipe that is the best one I've ever used. Basically you put shrimp in tap water with no seasoning, put them on the burner, then shut it off the moment they boil. Add seasoning and ice and let soak up to 45 minutes.

Immaculate peeling shrimp every time. Try it out.

Well I may regret it but we’re staying. No trees that would reach the house — generator and plenty of fuel.

The fact that it’ll be day light and I can see makes me better with it — we were in ville platte for Lili and it was daytime — not super scary.

So, a true story. My wife was stuck on a cruise ship in the middle of a hurricane as a kid. Her and her dad were walking around the ship and he was videoing. People puking everywhere, plates crashing around, and they ended up on the top deck. The craziest thing I’ve ever seen. She is straight “frick it” because this is nothing, let’s ride this out. Me personally, need some wobble wobble East.

Prom I’d gladly take it — my brother is in MB and have other friends who have been through so much. What will be will be but I won’t complain if it’s us.

Ehh, it won't be daylight for the worst of it in all likelihood.

ETA - Like 6-10PM for Vermilion Parish.

assuming the 4th drop in the eye by the USAF plane is its final one

so...

1st drop of that mission... 24.6N 93.3W @ 20:23z

final drop of that mission... 25.5N 93.6W @ 01:32z

so over the last 5+ hours... the center of Delta has moved +0.9N +0.3W

Well I know that they go a good bit — I missed out about their own wine maybe?

Gerry and Gary were both sick; believe it was cancer. Then Gerry’s wife Charlene died but forget what from. They were part of the friend group/supper club.
