I wouldn't be so sure about this storm. Seems like the models are extremely tight 5 days out from landfall and there's not as many factors in play for the path. It might shift a little west or east but I don't think that cone of error is going to see much difference. They're pretty deadset around New Orleans but of course a 50 mile shift east or west makes a big difference for someone.
The high over Florida might allow it to move more east but we'll have to see.

He gets paid to deliver weather content. More so now than ever, he goes to where any weather is going on. It isn't like a few years ago where he could just stay home if he wanted.

Don't know if I'd say he's fearcasting but it's on the table for it to be a major hurricane. The models have already went up in some peak intensity forecasting.
