Yes normal is returning. I just got back to normal with my work this week. Still fricked up trees and shite everywhere, but it’s pretty crazy how quickly people forget the power of nature. I enjoyed how it humbled everyone, albeit only for a couple days.

There are still out of state tree crews all over. A crew from Montana has been camped out in a neighbors yard since it happened. Really cool dudes. Haven’t even made a dent in the debris yet. I’ll never forget it.

How bad is the Baton Rouge area about to get fricked over

Baton Rouge is one of the most likely locations to catch the brunt of it with what we know now.

Go back a page or two where the new run showed the spaghetti models and how they tightened. Look where they are concentrated

Looks like pressure might be up a little bit more. A run of good news for the NE tip of the Yucatan.

Hurricane Lily was heading our way from the same direction as Delta as a category four right before landfall it hit dry air and cool waters and it dropped it down to barely a category one and it lost intensity quickly once it hit land

Yes! I did. I got a 2013 Chevy Silverado with the 5.3 and now I’m having buyers remorse because lots of people have mentioned bad things with that motor. Lol oh well.

I have a 2001 Silverado with a 5.3 L Vortech engine. It has almost 400,000 miles on it and the engine is perfect. Has never checked up for anything.
And about 200,000 of those miles are hard miles hauling and pulling loads heavier than the maximum specified for the truck.

Chicken needs to create and apply little hurricane tags to the few of you who have some idea WTF you're talking about. That way we can ignore the other loudmouthed fools in this thread who are shitting it up when some of us want information.

Would this be more efficient?

Of course.

Would this be more fun?

Of course not.

Br is projected to get 80 mph winds. That’s fricked for br standards when the max ever in br was 86. (Someone posted max wind record in br in here earlier)

Well he’ll that’s great to hear! Mine has already had some sensor problems, but I hear that’s very common on them. Replaced the MAF sensor and it’s doing better. It has kinda low idle and weird reaction times. Any idea?

Sorry for the derailment. Hope somehow everyone dodges this

For frick sake.... It’s not even in the gulf yet and the models, while tight, change some with every update. A 15 mile difference in landfall can mean the difference from a stiff breeze or broken limbs, roof damage, and week long power outages.

Can these “how bad will it get in my location” posts at least wait until Thursday?

If intensifying to 145 isn’t taking off, I shudder to think what it’s bottoming out would’ve been
