Exactly. Asians…I mean…driving is about the worst they do. They can stay.

But I mean are we not trying to deport the dots that blow up our buildings?

Why are we not concerned about figuring out a way to help the poorer parts of our American society with better education? Eliminating their welfare and food stamps that we pay for?

I don’t care two cents if these Hispanics are here illegally, not committing crimes, and working their arse off doing jobs lazy Americans don’t want to do and sending their money back home to their family. Good for them for finding a way to better their family.

Seems like a large waste of time and money that could be spent elsewhere….as long as they aren’t all convicted felons

airus.org: The Financial Burden of Illegal Immigration

I knew you had copied and pasted the numbers before, but I was curious of the source. I knew they were inflating the total federal expenditures, and had a good idea how.

Finally, it’s important to note that FAIR includes costs incurred by the minor, U.S.-born children of illegal aliens, as these costs are fully attributable to their parent’s unlawful residence in the United States.

And my theory was proven correct.

ICE is going to have to do away with the plain old white zip cuffs and come up with a more colorful version.

Something that screams "fiesta".

Working or not they drain resources meant for Americans then they send a lot of money back home instead of circulating it back into the local economy

I'm glad to see this happening, but I wish we could see this admin would also clean up the refugee/h1b visa abuse. Taking White collar jobs, and resource abuses are being done by those people too.

Unfortunately, it's being ignored to not upset a certain segment of financial support, so it's not a good look.

Yes—and I’ll continue reposting it in ICE, illegal immigration, and border discussions whenever intellectually dishonest posters try to downplay the issue. The facts are relevant, and ignoring them doesn’t make the problem go away.

okay.

Yes, FAIR includes the cost of U.S.-born children of illegal immigrants. And that’s not some shady accounting trick—it’s a just a reflection of reality.

silly but helpful hypothetical: If someone breaks into your house, sets up shop, and starts having kids in your guest room, are the expenses that follow somehow not your problem because the baby technically didn’t climb in through the window?

If the only reason those children are here, using public schools, healthcare, and other taxpayer-funded services, is because their parents came here illegally, then it’s entirely reasonable to attribute those costs to illegal immigration. Ignoring that connection just because the child holds “birthright citizenship” doesn’t make the financial burden disappear—it just makes the analysis incomplete.

This isn’t about inflating numbers—it’s about measuring impact. If illegal immigration sets off a chain of taxpayer-funded costs, it’s fair to track the full extent of that chain. Anything less is cherry-picking.

So yes, your “gotcha” is actually just confirmation that FAIR is looking at the whole picture—not just the parts that make the situation look more manageable on paper.

Duh! Buddy had a racehorse, and I went down with them to watch the horse train. We and the trainer were the only white people there. Horse tracks and hotel/motel staff are gonna be decimated by ICE.
