You must just be lazy as frick to keep offering up such lame arguments.
Nice. I got under your skin.
I have constantly answered and offered up facts and websites while you keep repeating the same lazy simpleton nonsense.
Why don’t you finally offer up some direct answers with actual facts, backed with reference websites to anything you post here instead of relying on the same ridiculous arguments over and over coming from your TDS. Then it will actually be fun to debate instead of it being like debating against Forrest Gump.
Maybe it really is just coming from a simpleton, and that is best you can do. Maybe TDS has consumed your ability to be a part of proper discourse.
I will try to stay positive and stick with it’s just you being lazy. Do better.

Looked more like a carrier landing than a normal one. Hit pretty hard.
Saw a Navy pilot interview yesterday who said that the rate of decent, I think thats the term, was over twice the amount of a carrier landing
Dude was coming down fast and hard

Blancolirio showed the rate of decent and it stayed under 1000fpm.
At 4:15
At 4:15

I dont remember what was optimal. I just remember the guy saying the rate was too fast. Much too fast. Are they now saying it was OK?

he has also said those numbers are from the ADS-B data and may not be actual. that will come from the black boxes.
Even if the rate was below 1000, it still was varying a good bit (to my eye)
Don't know if that's normal or not that close to landing.

He said it was a stabilized approach.

You’re still supposed to flare the airplane

Of course, I was just commenting on the Rate of Decent.

Got you. I am no pilot.
Didnt look stabilized to me. Looked fast and looked like he was tilted just a bit to the right.
Will be interesting to see what comes out of the investigation. Regardless, the aviation trade is taking a beating right now and honestly, it all seems random.

Sounds like wind gusts and possible poor actions on the part of the crew to compensate.

Those winds were hardly unsafe and well within the caabilities of the airplane. The wings appear to be mostly level. It’s the flight crews responsibility to not slam the airplane into the ground and tear the gear off.
They were coming down like they thought they had another 100 ft of altitude.

This guy kinda supports my ideal.

Apparently it may have not been a dude. I found this post in the PT from user “Tuscaloosa”, who I believe is himself a commercial pilot…

There's a high likelihood the pilots were younger or inexperienced right? My understanding is that most of those regional airline CRJ guys are newer to the airlines and working on their hours to get to the big 3?
As in, there would be a higher likelihood of pilot error from inexperience compared to a larger plane on the big 3?

See my post right before yours. It seems the pilot who had the controls was an inexperienced female who got her job via special program called “Propel Flow Through”.
quote:
The "Endeavour flow through program," also known as the "Career Advancement Program (CAP)," is a pathway that allows pilots hired by Endeavor Air to eventually transition to flying for Delta Air Lines, essentially guaranteeing a career progression from a regional carrier to a major airline by meeting specific requirements and service time at Endeavor; this means that qualified Endeavour pilots can "flow through" to Delta with a guaranteed job offer once they meet the necessary criteria, like serving a certain amount of time as a Captain at Endeavor.
This is part of the Endeavor Career Advancement Program….
