It’s amazing to see people rooting for corporations to deny any form of autonomy to employees or customers. When everything collapses, I hope you understand that’s what you wanted.

What do they call it when government and private companies team together to impose a certain ideology?

Oh yeah, fascism. The very thing we were told the bad orange man was going to implement and never did.

i’ll say this, the FDA approval and the vax mandate has certainly unmasked the COVIDIANS who think your medical decisions are their business, despite them being vaccinated.

But this is good fascism, because it's keeping us all safe.

And being safe is really what's most important.

I do. the vast majority are under 12. The other group is a minuscule portion of the population who are allergic to components in the vaccines or need to confer with their doctor due to some rare auto immune issue. Delta, a private employer, should not stopped from taking a reasonable approach to compelling its employees to get the vaccine on account of such a small percentage of the general population.

Imagine if a company did this for fat people, smokers, etc.

Do they do the same to employees that do not get the flu shot?

This is common for FDA approved vaccines. Your insurance goes up if you don't get measles, polio, etc. shots.

Honestly, I wish they'd do shite like this more. I'm tired of subsidizing people who make poor health decisions.

How is this not discrimination based on a pre existing condition?

It is? Funny how that's not been the case anywhere I've worked, ever.

i’ve always wondered this. but are you considered a smoker in these situations if you have a once, twice a month cigar?

You probably don't realize it but they do to a certain degree.

HR definitely keeps track of these things off the record and employees that have health problems, let's just say they aren't at the top of the hierarchy when deciding on cuts or layoffs.

My company does for any tobacco use.

And for other vaccines.

And they offer reductions in premiums if you agree to regular health screens and other healthy lifestyle related stuff.

President Trump literally said Saturday night it's 'your choice' to get the vaccine. And was against mandates. Are you trying to play dumb?
