It’s been years since I took a flight somewhere but I don’t recall paying much attention to flight attendants, I just wanted to go from point A to point B safely, that’s all that mattered to me.
I would imagine these attendants nowadays are just on edge waiting for some internet weirdo to go off and screw it up for everyone.

There are plenty of gay men as flight attendants, this has been been known for a very long time, not DEI

That is pretty much America now a days.
Go to a good portion of Asia and then come back, service people are on their phone acting as if they're doing you a favor...you don't notice it until you go somewhere where the person working at 7-11 is busting their arse.
Puerto Rico is one of the few places that is much worse in my experience.

Stop clutching your pearls. Dude sucks at his job and you want to make excuses because you are offended on his behalf. Gay black dudes usually love two things, being gay and being black. So dont get all upset when somebody calls him on it. Also gay black dudes are usually super flamboyant and that is off putting to most normal people. And OP didnt say that the gay black dude's poor service might have been due to the flight attendant having AIDs, which is super common amongst gay black men. So i really dont know what you are bitching about.

Very few blacks go above and beyond. That has been my experience in life. However, I was pleasantly surprised today by one. Older guy so I attribute that to his generation giving a F.

Gay dudes are typically good at being a flight attendant. Its the african kweens with giant lashes, asses, and attitudes that are an issue

But it is DEI. From changing stewardesses to flight attendants, along with letting the froot loops serve in a traditional woman's role, it is diversity and inclusion shite.
