Would be more illustrative to see a controlled statistical analysis. This raw data doesnt show whether they were even applying to the same programs

Percentages can be very misleading...

From the chart posted above on med school.

AAMC site also shows that 10,800 white students got in, vs only 1,400 black students, and 1,300 hispanic students.

So, between 7 and 8 times more white students get in than black or hispanic students.

I know several people that have Hispanic last names but are white as Norwegians. Blond hair, blue eyes and Midwestern accents.

I'm Hispanic...cannot speak Spanish. I know blue-eyed, blonde-haired Mexicans. You need to get out more.

The fact that you even have to ask this question PROVES there is no fricking such thing as WHITE PRIVILEGE.

Yes there is. I get to mouth off at police officers and not get arrested. I also get to drive super expensive vehicles and not get pulled over for a "random search".

I don’t believe it’s considered acceptable, in this day and age, to question someone on their claimed ethnicity/race so your friends should be good.

I did it to get extra scholarship money. I mean I'm all for taking advantage of a situation like that if the opportunity arises.
