Dear John Georges- I now get my local online news from local tv websites

The paywall for NOLA and The Advocate has not stopped me from reading about local news.


Apparently, the Tv stations write up their stories and you can read them for free on their site.


I have compared their headlines to yours in your newspaper sites and they are nearly identical.


So what’s the point of paying for access to read your newspapers online again?

If they did actual in depth journalism it could be worth it.
