I quit smoking years ago and you have 3 thresholds.
It takes two weeks to begin to get over the nicotine withdrawal and psychological addiction of the habit of doing it.
1 month and you really start feeling better and only thinki about it very seldom.
3 months is the maintenance time...this is tricky because this is when the “I’m over it so I can smoke this one time and it won’t hurt me” phase. The trick is don’t ever touch any nicotine again...ever.
