They were married for over 23 years and he's 21. I don't see how that would work.

I suppose she could be his stepmom if dad stepped out on her, conceived a child with someone else and stepmom ended up raising him, but there's no evidence of that.

This is really a sad sad story. I read that Dakota Theriot gave some statements when he was arrested. I'm really curious as to what he said.

The nephew of Billy Ernest posted that Summer was not dating the kid and he wasn't living with Summer's family. They'd simply allowed him to stay there for a few days.

I feel terrible for all involved.

This poor family

Nothing really earthsaking. They know how he did it, but not why. The father was the one who called 911 after he had been shot. If he waives extradition, he could be back by Friday or Saturday. He will be housed in Livingston Parish. That's about it.

Thanks.

The sister of Ernest and her son are both posting that Theriot was not Summer's boyfriend. He was a friend she's met 2 or 3 weeks before and she was simply trying to help him by letting him stay there a few days. She was still with the boyfriend with whom she is pictured on her FB page.

This is sort of strange because the same aunt said some family members had met Theriot at a family birthday party the weekend before or sometime around then. She said the grandmother (aunt's and Billy Ernest's mom) didn't like the boy, something along the lines of bad vibes, but not stated that way. I believe I read the grandmother stating she'd told Summer she didn't care for the boy, but it sounded more like telling her she shouldn't date him. Now, they say they never dated. Different family members saying some different things, not that any of that really matters.

So is The Advocate. The day he was arrested, law enforcement said he'd talked but didn't say what he said. Shot the 3 at the Ernest house one time in the head. Don't know if they were asleep or what. Glad he didn't get the two younger children.

I'm not blaming the Ernest family whatsoever but I would NEVER let my daughter's boyfriend, whom she had just met two weeks earlier, live in my house. I'd feel sorry if his family had kicked him out but it's not my responsibility to be a homeless shelter while I have a family of my own to provide for.

Having said that, this guy has a special place reserved in hell for what he did. Here we have a family who selflessly took him in during a hard time of his and this is how he repaid them.

Screw this dude. I hope Bubba makes him his bitch ever single day and I hope he rips his colon open and he slowly bleeds out or dies from septic infection on the cold, hard prison floor as the other inmates laugh at him. I hope he hears their laughter and feels them kicking him while he lays there dying, taking his last few breaths. I hope he suffers and I hope he's miserable. I hope he has nightmares every night before that as well. I hope he's uncomfortable from here on out until the moment his brain stops functioning.

God didn't intend for us to die the way he ended his victims' lives and he certainly didn't intend on us doing what he did to others. He's going to be punished in whatever way is worst for him. He's going to pay the price and I hope it's long, drawn out, and painful in every way.

They must have been very trusting folks. They lived in a mobile home. Wife, husband and 5 kids on and off apparently. Tanner was visiting his dad for the weekend. How could they possibly have room for one more and someone they barely knew? Hindsight is 20-20, but if I knew the boy was kicked out of his parents' home, I would have been suspicious as to why, at the very least. The family says he was not her boyfriend and he was only going to be there a few days. Have no idea how long he was actually there before this happened.

On the other hand, say your daughter is off at college and comes home for the weekend. Asks if she can bring a male friend with her for the visit or maybe it's your son who wants to bring some new friends home. Are you going to allow it even though you know nothing about them and have other children in your home? We brought home kids all the time. Granted, they were all in school with us.

I absolutely would not. Not if I have other children in the home with us. That's just irresponsible to put your family's well being in jeopardy by allowing people you have never met stay in your home. That's just me, though. I'm very skeptical.

High school dropout, a marriage that lasted 11 days, washed out of Army Basic Training. This guy was a disaster from the get-go. We post a lot of Florida Man (and from elsewhere too) shite for lulz, Usually it's just something stupid that hurts no one but themselves, but there a lot of damaged, dysfunctional people out there, and any of them could snap.
