Damn, I got all confused. I thought you were upset that the little shite's dad was going to be held liable. Didn't realize you were talking about the Dodge driver.

Ignore the village idiot. Move along. Nothing to see here.

I believe the question was who "should" be held liable. That being the case, I think the kid and his parents should be held responsible.

As for the actual legal definition of what the father did, I can only speculate but I'd imagine there has to be some provision to cover someone doing what he did that protects the public at large from a menace, like a good smaratian law or something.

The kid's parents (or grandpartents, whoever insured the car he was driving) auto carrier.

I hope the idiot driving the car died or was badly permanent hurt.

I'd be ready to kill him if it had been my kids in that park, but you have to remember he's still just a dumb 14 year old barely older than most of those kids he almost killed. Punish him for sure and make it sting to where he will learn his lesson. But at the same time remember he's just a dumb 14 year old kid.

I see they use the "shitty camera phone" filter for the photos. Why must people do this.

Because very few people just walk around everyday with one of these on them....

Might not be liable for the Dodge, but most definitely for all other damage caused by the kid.

Holy crap. Fast and smart thinking by the dad. What a hero.

As for the kid, a good ol' belt whipping from grandpa, suspension from driving until he's 21 or 25, community service until the suspension is off, and involuntary "donation" of money to the truck driver and city's park system should suffice.

If I was Dodge I'd get that guy the latest and greatest Dodge they have, outfit it with big arse bumpers and give it to him in the middle of town square.

Dodge will definitely give him a free truck I'd bet.

That video is great advertising for them
