CVS Minit Clinic Question

I like they have a price list up front (online) for like 100 things, I think transparency in pricing of healthcare is critical.
So if I just want to go get a $35 strep test, do I have to pay a visit fee underneath that, just to get the strep test? Or if test comes back positive and they write a prescription, there comes the $100 visit fee?
I can't find these answers on their website or get them on the phone.
Does anyone here know?

The way lab testing works is a Doctor (or PA or NP) has to order the test. Without a doctors order nobody can run the test. I don't KNOW for sure how they operate but I would imagine you have to pay the visit fee in order to get any testing done.

I'm pretty sure those clinics are staffed by nurse practitioners like an urgent care. They hope to send your prescriptions directly to their adjoining pharmacy.
Cvs has high prices on common generics if you don't have insurance so if that is the case you can ask them to send elsewhere.

The PA or licensed RNs can write a script or give any test.
The fee is in addition to the basic $59 or whatever fee for seeing the nurse
I use them all the time.

My BIL, a pharmacist, is working for CVS (turned down offer to be Regional Manager out of DFW). I will text and ask him and post back.
ETA: Minit Clinic is independent of the pharmacy but has a PA/NP online to issue prescription based on results. BIL has no idea on the fee structure.

So, the Strep Test cost is on top of the $139 First Time Patient Extended Visit fee.
Just so yall know.
ETA- the "First Time Patient Extended Visit Fee" is for the NP to perform the following-
Take height, weight, blood pressure.
Look in ear and nose.
Stethoscope back and chest.
Ask if you are allergic to anything, ask your vax status.
Get your insurance card, Drivers licence, and HSA/credit card number.
Call in a penicillin prescription 30 feet away.
The Strep Test fee is for the swab, the kit and the machine. I was ok with that fee, which was $45, not $35 as advertised on the website.

Why get tested?
It was for my child, and he's been suffering for about a week now, me hoping he'd just get over it like most things. After a week of suffering and not getting better, needed to escalate.

Yeah real transparent when you have to come to TD for clarification on the pricing structure.
