What is about the best I can expect to get right now with a 800 plus credit score?

Probably in the high 5 low 6 range is as good as you’re going to get.

You’ll see lower advertised, but you’re just getting smoked on fees to buy down the rate.

Depends on the car.

Some manufacturers still offering pretty low rates if you finance with them.

Then they pass it along to you in the price of the car or dealer fee. Anything below SOFR and you’re basically prepaying interest to get it down.

Sure. Then they’ll bend you over a barrel and show you the 50 states with backend fees.

Close. My sis bought one yesterday and snagged 6.25%. No debt good cred. We're back to 2001 numbers basically.

Depends on the region I guess. I’ve talked to three finance institutions and none have offered below 6.5. They are most likely working off averages

Honda is doing 2.9% 36mo or 4.9% on 48-60?mo, can't remember. Well on CRVs anyway, maybe other models too, we bought a CRV

My daughter is 24 yrs old and got 4.75 on a new Bronco. Of course she put a big chunk down so that probably factored into the rate.
