Ready for Beanie Babies to make a comeback. Between them and my crypto I’ll be able to retire.

Looks great for sure. That's exactly why that verbiage is in there. You can tell Richard has been around the block and prepared accordingly for any potential regulation.

How does anyone know whether their coin is properly valued by the market?

What is the proper valuation of any asset on the planet? Only what someone is willing to pay for it.

If it wasn’t apparent enough already you boys are really showing you don’t understand the first thing about investing. That’s ok, that’s what I’m here for.

Great, what's the value of a share of Apple stock a week from now?

I couldn’t tell you at what exact price people will be willing to buy/sell a certain stock a week from now would be. What financial analysts can do is look at a company’s assets, liabilities, and potential for growth, then discount future projected cash flows to current value to arrive at an educated calculation of its current value. There are some projections involved in that analysis, so different analysts can come to different conclusions.

Yeah, I’m linking you to an elementary website because that’s where you need to start.

Gotcha. I just figured someone with your wealth if knowledge would be able to educate us plebs without having to pull from such an elementary source.

Jon, it's refreshing debating with someone who posts actual links and knowledge vs "you can't use Bitcoin at Walmart" so all crypto is useless and has no value.

I enjoy the back and forth, although I won’t concede this is a “debate.”

You don't touch actual dollars either, only a paper representation of them. And we hardly even do that anymore.

I’m actually proud of you CoinBaws for finally calling BTC just a a highly volatile investment asset and not using the misnomer ‘a currency’

We’ll it’s fairly well established

Stocks have price to book, price to earnings, return on equity, and many other measures

Real estate has valuation methods well established

Even artwork has a strong valuation framework although it’s far more subjective. You get to actually use art though.

really? I can give you plenty of stock evaluations that do not add up to earning, equity, and assets.... Hell Tesla is one.
