We took the American Cruise Line river trip from Lewiston, ID to Portland, OR. 180 passengers, incredible service, magnificent scenery, food was great. All inclusive, do you want champagne in your room, no problem, don't like their choice of Scotches, they'll likely have a bottle at the next stop, no tipping, but we did for our favorite waiter and bartender. The cabins all have balconies and are larger than most cruise ships.
There isn't a pool or a casino, entertainment is sketchy, and the other passengers are days from hospice care.
Airfare is included, but it's coach, so we upgraded. How much? If you have to ask.....

I’ve been on Carnival and Norwegian cruise lines cruises with my Grandparents back in the day….i took my family on a Disney cruise a few years back. Disney cruises are just several classes above all the other cruise lines. Now I’m sure there are elite expensive smaller cruise lines that are better but for the big cruises Disney cannot be beat.

Part of the fun on a vacation, for me, is the cooking.
Another part is the lack of ratchet behavior.

Never been on one. I've always wanted to go, but on the Alaskan cruise. That seems more my style. Me and the old people minding our own business.
Not 500+ people cha cha-ing on the deck. Y'all can have that.
