Also this is my first race in general so there's that.
Begin hyrdating now and stretch. You'll be fine. Nothing to be nervous about. Although, I have seen people bite some pavement....

Running my first CCC Saturday. Really excited and a bit nervous just cause I don't know what to expect. Also this is my first race in general so there's that.
What's your pace? If you even have a decent pace, get there early and get as close to the front as you can. Bunch of frickers lightly jogging and/or walking with strollers, walk in large packs all standing shoulder-to-shoulder not leaving room for people to pass.

Ultra is one of the Title sponsors so that's what you get.

Well then you are gonna PR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take off today and Friday (no running) and stretch.
The first mile or so is crowded but I enjoy weaving in and out because it takes away the focus of my suffering!
Have fun, its a good time.

Ran a warmup 5K yesterday just to make sure I felt alright. Looking to finish around the 52-55 range so certainly nothing earth shattering. Just looking to enjoy the scenery while getting a run in really.

gonna be a warm day too... drink at each watering location... run through the spectator provided sprinklers.

Make sure you grab a hotdog and/or beer along the route.
I also think you can find a shot of vodka.

Oh I got under armour. Still seems like a pretty tough feat nonetheless.
Although an annual boner race would be pretty interesting. All participants must pop a Viagra before the start and the route is lined with fine naked womenz (and men for gentlemen who prefer that).
