I think the WNBA is a joke, doesn't bother me that it's around, I've just barely watched any. There are men who played basketball through HS and still in good shape that could probably dominate, sure.

There are also average Joe's that could take a top female UFC fighter, if we did it 100 times with 100 different men, some men would win. Overall I think they'd lose way more than half of the fights though. Untrained men I'm speaking of.

I have already agreed with shel the “average” man would lose the ufc fight, because what has become average is utterly pathetic

But I believe a man that isn’t of tiny stature that has simply kept himself in reasonable shape and has reasonable athletic ability, they would win. I understand we won’t agree

If you are trained, that's different. The topic says "without training" You keep sliding past that part, absolutely refuse to acknowledge it, no matter how many times someone tells you.

Let me guess, next up you are going to explain how a random college male basketball player would dominate in the WNBA, like any of that is relevant to this thread.

The topic at hand derailed to Pride beating a pro womens tennis player. Then to him beating Serena and D1 men tennis players beating Serena. Nothing about the current topic had to do with 'untrained' people

His mental gymnastics are D1 worthy that’s for sure. Simone Biles level really.

OK, well it's a long thread, I've missed a lot of post since I was last involved.

Umm, why don’t you check and see who brought up that topic. It was team “women are power hear then roar”

I just think the other two guys dont know anything about tennis and the big difference between the mens and womens game.

I can see how not knowing the game and being told the random guy over there at LSU would beat Serena would be kinda unbelievable to believe though.

This thread has turned into a disaster but pride is 100% right with the tennis comparison. Top D1 mens players would wipe the floor with Serena Williams and every other top womens player ever. The matches also wouldnt be close. Anyone arguing this doesnt know the sport

She’s unabashedly stated this more than once to the public when asked about men competing in women’s sports and vice versa. She laughs about how thankful she is she never had to play men bc she knows she’d get her arse whipped by high level amateurs and isn’t embarrassed by it bc she’s not an idiot understands the difference between males and females

Agreed. I will say, my biggest reasoning for having pretty much zero respect for women against men is from seeing how little it takes to be one of the best in the world at tennis comparatively.

I think women athletes should be EXTREMELY proud of their accomplishments. But should never ever be compared to men

For certain more technical sports, I obviously think the untrained male gets smoked by a pro female.

For others, I think untrained males will win, especially sports that have weight classes AND you also let the male be outside of the weight class

I do think the Serena thing shows though some men really don’t get though just how much more dominating men are then women

I will take it a step further.

Trained male boxer vs trained mma female.

I am taking the female.

She will be inside and on your ankle before you know it. Then said boxer will be scrambling and soon taping or going to sleep.

Now IF the boxer can tap her 3 or 4 times before she goes for a double leg takedown then sure. In a fight anyone can win. 135 vs 250 doesn’t matter if you get caught and it happens to the best of us but trained in the cage…I would go with the women.

Go look up Mikey Musumeci. That nerdy looking dude would kill probably everyone here. Now I am aware it’s not a women, but sound full spectrum mma training is where I would place my money, not on muscles or even weight.

The point I am making is that mma is superior to boxing in the cage. I also will say that you will not see any of those fights you mentioned for a reason.

Boxing doesn’t handle ground game. Now if you want to jump to extremes like that…fine.

Yes, I believe the boxer will fail in an mma fight the vast majority of the time.
