You have no idea what Galactus is capable of if you think Goku and/or Vegeta can come close to beating him. Hell, I'm not sure they even stop the Juggernaut.

It's hard to really quantify the power and ability of superheroes across the various platforms.
Some I have no doubt would be cake for these two. Others, like Hulk, would be a real challenge.
My two questions are how many sensu beans do they have, and can they use the dragon balls to wish back the one who died? These are always important plot points in the series.
Sayan's get stronger in battle. Especially after near death. Therefore Sensu beans could be used to speed up the recovery process AND increase strength.
Goku is also the ultimate warrior. He truly enjoys the challenge.
