Physically capable. Yes, no questions.

Mentally capable to block out the amazing amount of pain that would occur while you were trying to figure it out......no, not a chance.

have you ever tried to hold down a domesticated cat when it doesn't want to be??

Were you trying to kill the cat in a life or death situation? Sure a house cat could mess you up if you pinned it the wrong way while trying to play with it, but if I genuinely feared for my life that cat does not stand a chance. A bobcat stands a much better chance because sharper/bigger claws and teeth than a domesticated house cat, but if I was able to get a hold of that fricker I ain't letting go until he's dead. You'd get scratched to shite but you'd live. I'd say the best chance the bobcat has is if it pounced at your head and got a hold of your neck, but it's gotta be your first instinct to protect the neck.

I think most of you underestimate what your body is capable of in a true life/death scenario.

A bobcat might frick up or even be able to kill a grown man, but they aren't stronger. That's absurd

I wasn’t saying one was more difficult than the other....just implying that both are retarded hypos that 99% of the time result in human death and/or dismemberment unless said human is hopped up on PCP.

Just when I think that a thread can't possibly have one loon who can come up with something political, I open this thread.

As per the OP, yes an adult male or an extremely built up adult female could, but only to a smaller female bobcat and they'd do some serious damage to you in the process.

I had to have a yellow jacket next to my front steps removed a couple of months ago. Those things are nothing to mess with.

If you think only 2 out of 100 people are capable of killing a housecat you are crazy

No picture that guy flinging the cat into a tree instead of twirling around like a helicopter

Just wait a few seconds or swat it with a newspaper.

If you meant "nest next" then go at night and pour a bucket of insecticide over it, with the bucket still over the nest. Really no big deal though finding the nest is no fun.

How do you know the cat wasn't retarded?

Which begs the question, could any human kill a bobcat with retard strength?

This bad arse killed a leopard with his bare hands so I don't see why a person can't kill a bobcat.

Bad MOFO

I own two house cats. one is a 19-20 pound male Maine Coon. The other is a 9 pound tabby female. When either one gets scared, they can be dangerous. I lived with a guy who had a pit/boxer mix, and one time he came in the living room. The 9 pound tabby jumped on his back and tore him up. I wouldn't try to kill any of them with my bare hands, much less a 25+ pound wild animal. You'll get shredded even if you win.

I think the bobcat would have just as good of a chance at killing the person. One good bite to the throat and you'd likely bleed out.

No. Small cats like that don't generate the bite force like a large dog.

Probably unless you’re frail.

It would certainly inflict injuries. Unless you’re this guy.

Yeah, but who wins in a fight between a bobcat, Mike Tyson, and Bruce Lee? Tell me that!
