Got myself a pair. I’m outdoors a lot which is why I like them. Great at this price.

You can get great sunglasses for a lot cheaper at Costco/Sams.

This will be my 2nd pair. In the car I have 3 sets of Ray-Bans, 4 sets of Serengettis (favorite), 1 Maui Jim Titanium Frames, 1 Randolph Engineering, 1 Oakley.

Steep and cheap dot com is an offshoot of backcountry and they have these deals 24/7, just a heads up.

Costas use to be the shiz, now every Joey and their cousin wears them. I’ll stick to my Maui Jim’s

If you have vision insurance, check your coverage. Many of them allow you somewhere around $150 per year on glasses, which can be used toward sunglasses as well. Since I don't need actual vision correction lenses, I use my allowance on new shades every year and only pay the difference.

The Costa love on here isn’t what it was back around 2009 or so. Wonder what happened.

That's a great question, Paul.

I was scrolling through to get a cheap pair of awesome sunglasses, but then I threw up in my mouth a little as I looked through the pics.

I'm starting to think this board is less popular with college students and young adults nowadays.

Good observation. You may be right.

You are so brave for wearing Costas
For many reasons...Seeing a middle man able to discount 60-65% and still profit says a lot for d-baggery associated with "status". There's just no reason to spend even a tenth of the price if one wants good performance from nice looking sunglasses.
If anyone is serious about sunglasses, spends a lot of time on the water, etc., go to CTS Wholesale Sunglasses and pick up a few dozen that are comparable to Costa Del Mar in function, and indistinguishable in appearance from 20 feet.... and almost for pennies.. not hundreds of $$$. A friend let me A/B three pair he bought from CTS with his Costas. They were great looking, excellent.. virtually equal visibility on the water w/ full sun... and at $1 - $5 each they are cheap enough to be one-and-done disposable. They were actually decent quality and definitely get the job done that one wants from polarized glasses. I'm not saying the materials are equal or the polarizing process is the same but very little difference in the result when wearing...other than the status symbol logo.. And if you can't find a pair that satisfies your fashion senses (thousands to choose) , there are even more issues involved.
