There was a major shortage of raw materials like polypropylene this year. If material wasn’t imported, factories would’ve had to shut down for extended lengths of time.

The freight spike started with the ship running aground in the Suez Canal but labor and container shortages have kept it from going down.

I make sure all our containers are routed direct to the port of Houston. Still might have some delays but nothing like Los Angeles and Long Beach.
