Downstairs neighbor let's me know my shower is leaking into her condo. I call a plumber to fix the problem.
She won't let them in the house because of fear of the virus.
Thanks Rona.
Least the plumber didn't bill me for coming out.

It is now. I did what I was supposed to do in a timely fashion.
I'm curious as to how she expected me to fix it without going in her condo, but she decided to allow a leak to go on for possibly weeks.

Then she forfeits any ability to complain going forward.
The frick does she expect you to do?

Her insurance provider will be thrilled with that.

The plumber just left here. We moved in to our new place Thursday. The hot water heater died Saturday. The house came with a year of home warranty. For 89 bucks, we'll have a new water heater probably later this week.

Plumbers are considered "essential utilities". Tell her if she doesn't let a plumber go in and fix it, then she'll need to sign a piece of paper verifying that and tell her you won't be responsible. She can leave it on her door step if she wants to and you can go pick it up without "breathing on her".

Just let the shower run. She will eventually let the plumber in to fix it.

Luckily for you, one of the oldest known laws is still in effect: shite goes downhill.

First time with a home warranty I see. Most will try to piecemeal a solution while charging you each time they come out. Eventually they will replace it when fixes keep failing. Maybe water heater is shot enough they so replace on first time.

Document all of this.

Get it in writing from the plumber that you called, he came out, and she denied access. It’ll save your bacon later with this chick
