Furthermore, the answer is directly in the below quote from your statute.
The government can authorize personal use.
quote:.
a) Employees may use Government property only for official business or as authorized by the Government
The government can authorize personal use.

Actually, go reread those statutes you listed which don't appear to have anything to do with property such as vehicles.
Both the statueshe listed are federal. The “state” on he listed specifically mentions CFRs and the same federal one he posted.

You are a dope. City or Parish owned vehicles are not property of the State or Federal Governments. Do you understand now. Actually, go reread those statutes you listed which don't appear to have anything to do with property such as vehicles.
God. You people are fricking retarded. The Parish owns EBR cars, the city owns BRPD cars, no fricking shite you moron. That doesn't anything I said. The OP didn't specify any jurisdiction he was talking about for one, secondly no governmental entity is going to allow unlimited personal use of its property to employees. IF they allow any personal use, the employee is going to have to claim it as income just like anyone else.
You people are so fricking stupid it makes my head hurt. You read 3 words of an entire post and go full retard. Read something, reread it, then think about it for 30 seconds and you'll have a chance (though probably slight) to make a coherent response

Meh, perk of the job.
Perk of the job my arse, I live in Washington Parish and know for a fact a causeway cop drives that tax payer paid for vehicle all over town. If that cop put gas in it I wouldn’t care but I’d be willing to bet he dosen’t.

As of now you have at least 5 posters trying to explain to you how wrong you are.
One person is a actual Prosecutor
Two people are actually police officers
A few other that actually know what we’re talking about.
Yet you continue to prove what a dumbass you are.
Please tell us you’re trolling.
If so you should be banned.

If you keep reading they clearly do not authorize it, but frick the facts if we throw enough bullshite against the wall something will eventually stick.
Do 30 seconds of research before you post

You're looking worse and worse with each post.

This person I'll listen to, but I've read the federal, state, and EBR statutes so I know the law

You've posted precisely zero evidence of the contrary

Id never use it for personal use. The little I might save out of pocket isn't worth being tied to that job any more than Id already have to be

Your initial post you stated you didn’t have a problem with it.
You seem you have a big problem with it.

I'm not sure what's funny about that, the statutes lay out clearly what is and is not permissible
Posted on 12/19/18 at 8:56 pm to Mingo Was His NameO
Give us the state and EBR "statutes" then. NOPD even requires officers to have a rider on their personal auto insurance to cover the periods when they're using the vehicle outside the course and scope.

Shouldn't be allowed. Costs taxpayers millions in extra benefits.

You’re 22 years old
Have a MBA in Accounting
You’re a CPA
Own and maintain 400 acres of hunting and timberland
You’ve read State, Fed and EBR statutes
on top of that you work 60 hours a week in a cubicle and post on TD 24/7??
