Cops of the OT, is it funny seeing people slam on their brakes when they see you radaring?

Also, do you get satisfaction out of giving people speeding tickets?
I’ll hang up and listen. Thanks.

Just pay your ticket and don’t speed anymore!

Gives me a very uneasy feeling, as if they're hiding something... must investigate.

Was having a beer in a bar in Hot Springs a couple of years ago waiting on the LSU game sitting at the bar next to a retired Arkansas state trooper, he was telling me about giving a ticket to a UTexas fan on a game weekend back when Ar-kansas was in their conference, he said the the guy was pissing and moaning and said “ you’re only giving me this ticket because I’m from Texas, the trooper told him “ no sir, I’m giving you this ticket because you were going 78 in a 55 mph speed zone, I’m enjoying giving you the ticket because you’re from Texas

Honestly surprised (amazed, tbh) that the OP didn’t spell it “breaks”.

Say you see a cop shooting radar way ahead and you are doing about 10 miles per hour over the speed limit and you decrease your rate of speed slowly as you approach the cop. Does the radar gun have trouble locking in a speed as you re decreasing in speed?

No. You don't lock a speed in. The radar shows you how fast the vehicle is traveling and you see the decrease on the radar.
To answer the original question...I guess some might but most don't it's just part of the job.
I can tell you what really sucks...is going to the the family and informing them that their family member is dead from a crash. You have to stand there and witness their sudden grief and sorrow then answer their questions.
When I worked patrol a long time ago....I disliked that way more then the idea of upsetting someone over getting a ticket.

I’ve always wondered if Cops get on Waze and mark themselves as no longer where people say they are.
