I can see the cops standing around in the rain, talking about when they're gonna go back and ask the op again if he's gonna leave his condo.

Tell him you appreciate his concern and you'll make sure to write your name and social on your arm in waterproof sharpie just in case. He'll leave you alone after that.

OP, are they mixing "meow" into their conversations with you?

if the place is unsafe, they should be able to explain that to you in a satisfactory way and it should be apparent that you need to leave.

According to the police officer, the fire marshall is worried about a tree that is in the middle of the property line (Not the same tree in Hubba's thread last night) possibly falling over and I quote "crashing through your bedroom with you in it".

That just sounded like worst case scenario. While I respect them worrying about my safety, it sounds to me like there's a whole lot of assumptions in that.

Presumptions.

You should've gone to school a bit further to the North...

You are missing a golden opportunity. Crank your coffee pot and make a pot of gumbo. Make sure all the cops are fed and watered. Be nice and memorable.

Say goodbye to traffic citations. Each cop you treat nicely will remember you from then on. They may even share some of their blow and hookers with you.

Back in 1992 during hurricane Andrew cops were trying to get everybody to leave. Their words were you don't have to leave but we are not coming get you and please tie a label to your toe so we can identify the body later.

I guess the NWS didn't classify it was an EF-1. 100MPH winds. Not saying it was like a EF-5 or anything, but still a tornado.

Please try harder assfrick.

Had to throw away a lot of the stuff in my fridge but I've almost got a few links of deer sausage thawed out.

May have to try that.
