We should give the shooter some credit. At least he's race-blind.

Why did the UC have his gun out?

That is a damn good question as well. As I said in my earlier comment (which somehow got me accused of boot licking), there were frick ups of biblical proportions in this entire deal. The shooter screwed up by the numbers but the UC shouldn't have been participating in the arrest by pulling his gun out either. That isn't done for the very reason seen here. He could accidentally be perceived as a threat.

The only reason for a UC to have a weapon out would be if there was an immediate danger to himself or his partner. In which case he should have been shooting.

Frankly, the OT is largely right about the levels of professionalism in some smaller law enforcement agencies. There are both ends of the spectrum and this operation tells me that this agency is on the low end of that gauge.

Cops bloodlust has moved towards their own kind.

This assclown got $11 million settlement. Meanwhile other murder victims of cops cannot even get a trial.

I didn't read the article so I don't know. Someone posted that the UC had the suspects at gunpoint but I don't know if that's true. Wouldn't make much sense for him to do that.

Wasn't fittie cent shot like 9x?

The unbelievable part of this story is that the UC was hit in all major organs and almost bled out and still survived surgery.

So something is wrong with Albuquerque PD right? I mean they're under Justice Department investigation and they seem to be shooting people all the time.

Wait a second. I thought that if a person complied with the police request nothing like this would ever happen.

This is great. Cops are now shooting their own.

And of course the police oversight agency recommended that he be fired. He was also forced to retire. Do you all think any of this would have happened if he shot someone other than a cop?

Why is it great that anyone got shot? That is a pretty shitty thing to say.

There you have it, OT. Tangerine thinks cops getting shot "is great".

Ever heard of sarcasm, as in "just great"?
