Damn that picture of the kid is really getting to me. Seems like a good kid and not a thug pos like most kids these days. Cops are ooc.

Agree. It's been going on for a long time, though. There was a rash of these in the 80's with kids holding Laser Tag guns.

You can't even answer your own door anymore. How can a cop be that dumb? Did the possibility of someone else living in that trailer just not occur to her?

If I was that kids dad I would probably do crazy and find the cop and beat the shite out of him.

Hard to do from prison. Apparently the dad is a pos himself and is the reason the cops were there in the first place

She also didn't identify herself when the kid asked who is it.

Why would she need to have gun drawn knocking on the door anyway? And she never identified herself. She should be charged with murder and get the electric chair for all I care. It's your job to protect and you go and pull this stunt. Totally unacceptable.

I'll reserve judgement at this point and time. Not enough facts to declare the typical "TPOS Cop" response

multiple eyewitnesses, or the testimony of a heartless cop who willingly holds guns against citizens because he or she couldn't make it in the real world or the military.

Right, and if the KID asked.. He probably has a 14 year old high pitched voice.. And she's expecting a man to answer after that and puts one through his chest. Wtf man

They were serving an arrest warrant. Not defending her shooting but she has every reason to have a fun drawn when serving a felony arrest warrant.

I'm surprised she knocked, these days. Normally they kick in the door to the wrong house, and shoot the dog.

Trailer doors aren't thick. She knew someone was asking who she was.

If this happened in a larger city it would cause riots.

Hope she has fun living with hearing the kids last words "who is it?" For the rest of her life.

It would be prudent to asses the situation to where you know if there are innocent people in the residence before you go in there with guns drawn.

Wasn't a felony warrant. It was a misdemeanor probation violation warrant.

And only one officer serving the warrant? Does it say if other officers were present?

I hope she's a mother, so she can fully appreciate what she's done to that family.

Believe it was for a misdemeanor.
