Cop executes non-threatening man walking with an ink pen - video

Nehad was shot and killed in the 3200 block of Hancock Street by Officer Browder, a 27-year veteran of the force who was responding to a 911 call that indicated a man was threatening people with a knife. According to an investigation by the district attorney's office, Browder feared for his life when he fatally shot Nehad, who allegedly advanced on the officer in a menacing manner. It was later determined that Nehad was carrying a metallic pen, not a knife.
quote:
The victim is shown leisurely walking down the alley without bothering anyone. When the police car shows up, the victim is blinded by its lights, and unable to tell it’s a police car, he just walks to the side to get out of the car’s way. The officer is far enough from the victim to not be in any immediate danger. He doesn’t appear to identify himself, and does not give the victim reasonable time to respond. He simply sees a guy carrying something in his hand and opens fire without second guessing.
Before the bootlickers rush to the cops defense saying he thought it was a knife, I don't think it's illegal to walk with a knife and he certainly was going around the cop car, not to the officer. .

I am sure he "feared for his life". So...

That was pretty sick. I hope he goes to jail

I tend to lean towards the side of the cops, but that one looks bad.
Don't see how that one can be called justified.
That said, OP comes off as a prick. Just let the video speak for itself. No need to come out firing insults.
I don't see you commenting on the cop killing the guy with the gun in the Charlotte Mall and saving lives in the process, but you damn sure were quick to post this one going "See? See? Cops Suck!"

Ok so I'm dumb and first read this as the cop used the ink pen to execute the man...

So lsutangerine. You complain so much about the police. If anything ever happens to you or your family you better never call them for help.
This video is terrible on a different note. Just tired of op constant bitching about police. You are not forced to live in the us of a where police are terrible. This video is terrible I'll give you that but your constant bitching aboUT police is old. This time it's warranted, but most times it's not.

This is a ridiculous position. If there is a problem with police, the most reasonable course of action is to fix the problem, not tell those who recognize it to move away.

So sick of seeing stuff like this. Don't care how rare it is. Life is too precious. Wish there was alternative weapons of some sort.. but this is on poor judgment alone.
Why didn't he at least bark out some commands from inside his vehicle first.. He gets out and shoots right away.. Guy is just walking..
Get on your car speaker.. so "PUT YOUR HANDS UP" so you know they won't have anything in their hands..
come on man..

I just don't understand how you can live with yourself after something like that.
That is unbelievably sad.

I pray this cop lost his job.

Same old same old. Cops murdering people and typically getting away with it. At least a portion of the blame is on the attorneys defending these scumbags

And him posting threads bitching is taking action? I agree that if there is a problem it needs to be addressed. I don't think the constant bitching he does solves anything. If he has a problem with police solve the problem or help solve it. Bitching solves nothing.

Again. Where is the praise for the cop that shot the guy in the mall today when he pulled out a gun and raised it at someone? Ya'll conveniently ignore those stories.

The penis mightier.
Cop should take up residence the inside of a cage for several years, 8+, to reflect on his actions and the blood on his hand.
Cop will ride a desk for a few weeks and not lose a second of sleep or feel an iota of remorse over his irresponsible, reckless behavior.
