Looking at I10/I12 W at the Mississippi state line. I know it's a clusterf*ck during the day, but any word as to how it is at night? Say after 7pm? 10pm?

TIA

Smooth sailing. I just made the drive last week. The bring I-12 down to one lane after Hammond headed west. I was driving through around 10 or 11. I always travel at night to avoid traffic

Likewise.

Girlfriend's friend is driving from Destin to Texas today and she's bitching to her about traffic coming in to Louisiana.

We will be making the trip in the next few weeks.

I passed it at 1am last night (west bound), still 45-60 min delay. It looked like they were just starting to rip up the road on the west bound side.

You could take 43 down to 90, then in the back of Slidell get on 190 and take that parallel to 10/12 until it clears up.

Or we could just take 190 and drive through NOLA and back to BR.

I passed eastbound last Monday around 845 am with no issues and yesterday westbound around 1pm also with no issues. My wife told me of a few people complaining on fb about the traffic but I didnt see any issues. Maybe just got lucky

OP- prayers sent for girlfriend. Traffic backed up eight miles into Mississippi and it is starting to rain.

According to this, the left lane on westbound I-10(coming in from Florida) is closed all weekend, day and night.

All lanes will be re-open Monday, July 27, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. - See more at: LINK
