Lenire treatment is something I have looked into but have not tried yet. Kind of pricey. Has preliminary FDA approval for what it's worth.

They have the procedure here in Hammond

Fascinating. Had never heard of this, will research more. Guessing insurance won’t pay for it?

I’ve had it since I was around 30. Sitting in front of the Tiger Band drum section for 3 years, and too many shots fired from high powered rifles while in small plywood boxes when being in a hurry to shoot and not putting in the earplugs are a bad combination. Run an air purifier at night or the White Noise app on my phone while traveling. As others have noted, alcohol and fatigue both make it worse.

Sorry OP, like others I've been dealing with it for over 30 years, extreme case here, it can be miserable at times....the quieter the environment the worse it gets, loud environments just exponentionally ramp up the anxiety from sensory overload... hearing aids can help a little, but the right ones are stupid expensive as they must be tuned and filtered.

You're welcome. When I was shown this years ago I thought it had to be the dumbest thing ever and then... Silence haha.
